Management of impacted teeth and cysts

Workshop

Lecture Overview

Management of Impacted Teeth and Cyst The surgical removal of impacted teeth is one of the most frequently performed procedures in Dentistry.

While third molars (wisdom teeth) are the most commonly affected, other teeth—including canines, premolars, and supernumerary teeth—can also be impacted.

In certain cases, these impacted teeth may be associated with cystic lesions or cyst-like formations, which require careful evaluation and management.

This lecture will explore the diagnosis, treatment planning, and surgical management of impacted teeth.

Cases complicated by associated cystic pathology will also be discussed.
