Lecture Overview

The aim of this lecture and hands-on session is to equip early users of I/OS with the necessary knowledge and practical hands-on with scanners to implement I/OS into their daily practice with confidence.

Topics that will be covered include:

  1. Fundamentals of tooth preparation for All-Ceramic CADCAM restorations
  2. CADCAM material selection, surface management and cementation
  3. Workflow for taking digital impressions for both natural teeth and implant restorations
  4. Workflow when communicating with the dental lab
  5. Hand-on with I/OS – Digital Impression Workflow
    • Full-Arch Scan
    • Crowns and Bridges
    • Implant restoration
    • Use of various Medit Applications

Dr. Bruce Lee Chi Hong

Dental Surgeon

Dr. Bruce Lee Chi Hong completed his BDS degree at the National University of Singapore in 1997, where he was awarded the ‘Drs Tay & Partners Gold Medal’ for his academic and clinical performance. He was also the “Best All-Round” Final Year Student in the faculty of Dentistry.

Dr Lee is the Clinical Director and Course Director at the T32 Dental Centre and T32 Dental Academy in Singapore. He has conducted lectures and hands-on training courses both in Singapore and regionally (including Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, South Korea and the Philippines). Dr Lee serves as Adjunct Lecturer in the Dept of Restorative Dentistry, National University of Singapore and since 2008, he has also been serving as Chairman of the Singapore Academy of Oral Rehabilitation and Implantology (SAORI) – a Study Club based in Singapore where dentists both locally and internationally come together to share and learn from each other.
